UTME 2018/2019 FORM IS NOW AVAILABLE ONLINE FOR PURCHASE
The Joint Admission and matriculation Board (JAMB) declared
that by December 6, 2017 the sale of
2018 UTME application form will commence and the form would be available for a
period of 2 months, which means the application form closing date is February 6
2018.
News had it that the board had earlier announced the
postponement of the initial date slated for the form sales due to the delay in
meeting the agreed deadline by the publisher of the compulsory reading text
meant for the prospective candidates.
The board also said, the date for the sale of form and
registration for candidates affects all candidates even those from foreign
countries.
DR Fabian Benjamin, the board’s spokesman, disclosed on
Sunday, that the registration fee is #5,000 with an additional #500 which id
for the compulsory reading text “independence” for the UTME candidates and
“last day at forcados high school” for the direct entry candidates.
Furthermore, the board also added that candidates who are
interested in writing the mock examination should register before the end of
December.
According to the board, the mock examination shall commence
from Monday 22 to Wednesday 24 january, 2018 and the CBT centres are permitted
to collect, through their bank accounts, a separate fee of #700 for the
exercise from the interested candidates after notification of centre has been
received by the candidates. While the 2018 UTME would commence from 9th
march to 17th march 2018.
