JAMB VALIDITY PERIOD HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO 3 YEARS BY THE SENATE

The Nigerian Senate has extended to three years the validity period of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) organized by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) instead of the present one year that it lasts.

The Senate’s extension followed an amendment of the act establishing JAMB which scaled through third reading at Thursday’s plenary.
