TUITION/SCHOOL FEE REMAINS TWENTY-FIVE THOUSAND [N25,000.00] NAIRA ONLY – LAGOS STATE UNIVERSITY MANAGEMENT

The attention of the Lagos State University Management has again been drawn to the erroneous insinuations making the rounds, especially on the Social Media, regarding a plan to increase or purported increase in the Tuition/School Fee being paid by Students of the University presently.

What the university has done is to increase the payment of acceptance fee from Ten Thousand Naira (#10,000.00) only to Twenty Thousand Naira (#20,000.00) only payable once by candidates recently offered provisional admission by the university. It must be mentioned that the payment of the Twenty Thousand Naira (#20,000.00) acceptance fee remains the cheapest in Nigeria compared to what other universities receive as their acceptance fee.

The University Management however, wishes to reiterate that there is no increment in Tuition/School fees, neither are there plans to effect any increment. Members of the University Community, students and the General Public are urged to disregard any information to the contrary. Please be wary of mischief makers trying to incite and create unnecessary tension in the university. Ademola Adekoya
